What we do:
We make it easy for Kadampa ordained Sangha to procure qualified and high quality robes. We aim to simplify and modernize the way in which ordained Sangha procure their qualified and high quality robes. We want to achieve this also for the benefactors of Ordained Sangha, and for the suppliers of the robes. All three of these elements need to be cherished. To ensure better quality, to ensure better fit, to ensure ease and accuracy of ordering, to ensure ease of payment.
The Background Story:
KadampaStyle began as a dream. At first there was no name, no website, nothing at all actually. But, when you want to help others and you maintain a long-standing vision, a time will come when that becomes a reality. This belief is based on the truth of what the great Buddhist Master Nagarjuna says:
Even if we are not able to help others directly
We should still try to develop a beneficial intention.
If we develop this intention more and more strongly,
We will naturally find ways to help others.
The beneficial intentions that led to KadampaStyle arose in the heart of a sincere robe-maker who wanted to help ordained Sangha have easy access to qualified robes. Ordained Sangha are important to the spread of Buddhadharma in the West and all ordained people, who we view as objects of refuge, need to be seen by the general public in beautiful robes. When a person sees a precious Kadampa Sangha jewels in qualified, well-made robes, their minds can more readily appreciate the beauty of ordination and develop faith in the three jewels. In this way the efforts of KadampaStyle are fully dedicated to the spreading of Buddhism in this world.
